Our History

A Long-Standing Tradition

West Virginia League Central Credit Union of Charleston, West Virginia was chartered in 1968.  To better reflect our individuality, we changed our name to West Virginia Central Credit Union in 1995 and moved to our present location on Murdoch Avenue.  We continue our business as a state chartered credit union serving Select Employee Groups and their family members in and around West Virginia.

Our President/CEO, Michael A. Tucker, has the following to say about WV Central Credit Union, "We like to operate under the philosophy of "People Helping People."  We dedicate each day to our members, striving to provide top-notch services that meet their needs and expectations.
